Sanchinarro is a residential area in the Valdefuentes neighborhood, in the Hortaleza district of the city of Madrid (Spain). It arose as a result of the Urban Planning Action Program (PAU), derived in turn from the General Urban Planning Plan of 1997. Construction began in the early 2000s. It is located east of the Northern Highway (A-1). , north of the M-11 highway and south and west of the M-40 ring road. It has an area of ​​just over 400 hectares. Although there are people who mistakenly associate it with some non-existent saint and write it separately, its name comes from the payment on which it was built and has a similar origin to other toponyms such as Sanchidrián or Muñopedro. Sanchinarro borders Las Tablas to the west. , to the east with Valdebebas and to the south with Manoteras and the Colonia Virgen del Cortijo. To the north it limits with the El Encinar de los Reyes urbanization, which in turn borders with La Moraleja which already belongs to the municipality of Alcobendas.
